We are not a competitor to your academic team and we do not teach. We work with schools that want a structured explanation for a small number of children whose results do not match what staff observe in class.
01 How a school engages us
The parent still holds the file.
The school suggests, the parent decides.
A coordinator or head of section can recommend a Discovery; the engagement is between us and the family.
We ask the school for evidence, with consent.
Marked scripts and subject teacher comments are far more useful than a grade summary.
The school receives a summary only if the parent releases it.
Even where we already partner with the school.
Sessions can run on campus or off it.
On campus is usually easier for families and less disruptive than it sounds — one child, one room, one period.

- Anything the child said that has no bearing on their learning

Safeguarding
Where a genuine safeguarding or legal concern arises, we are required to act on it, and we tell the family before we do. That obligation sits above the parent’s control of routine sharing, and we state it to everyone at the start rather than in a footnote.
